How fast do you expect an SP to reply to e-mail?

Many of us live out of town, some of us way out of town. Pre-booking is a way of life for me, SPs and agencies that are bad at pre-bookings don't get my bookings.
I continue to book with Vixens, Cupids, and a handful of indy ladies because they have buttoned-down business practices that say "I want your business" and "I value your time".

As you said, calling up and be there within 90 minutes. This is e-mailing.
If you really have an itch, try calling or texting next time. You'll probably get a faster response. Simple solution.
I always assume the provider/courtesan I am seeing has another regular job or is a student. Depending on what is stated on their ads or website, I do not expect them to be on-call all the time.

I'm not sure but have to ask, is this question directed at me? I've been replying to my e-mails.
I guess sometimes she simply doesn't know while she's studying for exams, which could take longer than expected.
Just wondering because I was out last night and didn't read my e-mails until this morning.
Somebody e-mailed me yesterday evening and about 4 and a half hours later said he was cancelling our appt. for this coming week because I didn't respond. I know he will very likely read this...I'm not upset just a bit confused.
Did you already have an appointment booked, or was he trying to book an appointment with you for this coming week?
If he merely enquired about a booking, it is not your fault that he had to cancel, unless he specifically said that he required a response within 4 hours. His reasoning sounds like an excuse to not look wishy-washy, or that he changed his mind and decided to see someone else.

For you & other SP: How many emails on average do you get in a week? Is it a big chore filtering through your inbox? Since you are independent the administration must be a big part of your time. I suspect if we empathize with you that our expectations on replying may be a little more flexible. Once there is a committed booking and schedule for the week is set, do you or others just ignore any other emails And focus only on emails of confirmed bookings?
The appt. was booked and he was writing to ask if he could change the time. It's not an issue anymore - we worked everything out.
I travel to Toronto regularly and a few days before I arrive, I send 2-10 email to the ladies I am interested in seeing, explaining what I am looking for and when, any screening details they ask for etc. I prebook, always.
I get about a 50% response rate from indy's. 75% from agencies. 10% or less from BP.
The thing is, if you can't be bothered to respond within 24 hours, DON'T use email, don't post your email address, go so far as to tell guys not to email. It's a far better solution to say phone or text only.

I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes these things happen. Did he say in his email that he needed to know by a certain time? If not, then he should apologize for the cancellation as it couldn't be your fault. Even if he did state a deadline, 4 hours isn't enough if you don't regularly check your email.
