Hello everybody,

Sorry for intruding in your wonderful world of words. I’ve been reading this board for a few weeks now and I can say that I am impressed about this new world that I discovered and it become kind of addiction to search this board.

I hope you are going to take the time to listen to me…
How does a women who is 32 years old, who is kind of shy and soft but full of energy and sexuality, who always been into relationship (not anymore, don’t want to be for a while), the good girl type, who unfortunately has some financial problems, who can be the perfect girlfriend but who wants to experiment new thinks (the one that most of the women that are into a relationship don’t do it), who wants to be very discreet because I do live in this city for more than eight years and I am planning to stay here, (like everybody else care about my image… society reasons… mentality…), can start to be an independent escort!?

Reading this board confirm that the world that I was thinking about exist, and even if I think that most of my friends love me I don’t think that they will agree with what I want to do, because.... I can choose to continue my career (I am university educated and I have the most wanted Canadian experience…), wherever for many reasons this is the way I want to go and I would like to make a few new friends here, who can give me some guidance and with who I can talk about things…

I apologize again for intruding (hope I am not asking for to much) and hope I make sense (I am not a good writer, I like to express myself in some other ways!).

Denisa why don't you work as a mpa first ? Just to get the hang of seeing different men or to perfect some techniques. I think you should take it a step at a time.

Best of luck

Denisa, you're at a perfect age to do this. Most of the escorts in
Toronto are too young to really have a grasp of sensuality. And you sound like a together, caring person, and obviously educated, so your chances of making out ok are good. I would avoid the massage parlors altogether.

Either phone one of the better agencies in town, preferably one that already has a few escorts over the age of 25, or just hang out a shingle yourself, via a website and an ad on something like escorts-canada or eros.

Keep your rate around $200 per hour (or less), be selective with clients, and don't offer half-hour rates. We wish you well.

Denisa: I agree that you should start with an agency. You don't say where you are from but do call the agencies in your area. The good ones will sit down and discuss things with you. The agency takes care of advertising, answering phones, qualifying the client and provides you with a driver. Be prepared to be scared to death going on your first call lol. You will be surprized at the fine caliber of gents you will meet, how good you will feel about yourself, how much fun you will have and last but not least how much $ you will make. You may also go to Mark Perkel's site. http://sex.perkel.com/escort/index.htm This is actually a "guide for the johns" but he does write on becoming an escort. 32 has maturity, life experience, skills and is just about the perfect age. If you need me, you can pm me. Hugs, Maryln

Denisa...

...have you decided what level and types of service you are willing to provide? Browse the threads, do searches and become familiar with all the arconyms (i.e. DFK, DATY, BBBJ, BBBJTC, MSOG) just to name a few.

How many clients would see per day? What are your rates? Incalls or out?

Maybe you should have a special promotion in order to generate interest. Have a contest where the winning Terbite gets a free extra special session.

Welcome Denisa!

Welcome to TERB Denisa!

Financial issues aside, it sounds like you are choosing to enter the biz of your own free will. That's great! I wish you all the best.

Hopefully by now some of the SPs on the board have PM'd you. I too would agree with others who have posted on this thread - you might want to at least talk to some of the better agencies to get a better feel of what it's like to be an SP. Keep in mind that in addition to the outcall agencies already mentioned, there are also incall places like Friends, Oasis & Roommates. (I've only ever been to Friends, but Oasis & Roommates get good reviews.)

Another suggestion would be to talk to some of the SPs directly over a coffee or whatever. Though I doubt there's any magic pill to entering the biz, there are undoubtedly pitfalls to avoid.

My personal $0.02 - you seem to have an open mind and a good attitude. Whatever your choice in life, don't lose those attributes! And most of all - have fun!

Good luck!

Well, since I am Miranda,I will disagree.LOL.

For some women who do not want the bother of advertising, etc.,agencies are great, however, for others, only making 60% or whatever of each of their calls is not an option.

I think that if you know the basics.....you will learn the rest along the way(sometimes through trial and error, sometimes by instinct, sometimes having your ass flamed to hell and back).

I personally wish Denisa the best of luck....She has chosen to go indy and I say good for her.

Denisa, welcome to the biz. I'm retired but still love to keep up on the action. Feel welcome to email or pm me. I'll follow up on that suggestion to meet for a coffee and gladly trade thoughts. Actually, there are a few of us that have a little "coffee clutch" and perhaps you would like to keep in touch and join us.

As Miranda said there are pros and cons to being independent or agency. The agency will definitely take care of the business side and there is a certain comfort level in knowing you have a driver looking out for you as well and all of that I'm certain is worth giving up a percentage. As an indie you keep everything, but you spend hours sorting pms, emails, and answering your own phone. Worked the right way, that can be part of the fun as it was for me.

Feel free to email me mrs_stiffler@hotmail.com and I'll invite you out for our next coffee (wine) hens night.
