Unfortunately, nothing can happen until C-36 is addressed by the SCC. So I ask, when will the various constitutional challenges be heard? Are we talking another 5 or 10 years of having to live under an unjust law?

Any other attempt to regulate will both fail and increase costs for both clients and sps. Post Bedford and pre C36 we had effectively decriminalized the hobby and things seeemed pretty good from my point of view at least.

This is the only answer in our present state.
Asking the government to competently take such an issue on is a guaranteed fail. I neither want this space to turn into a Vegas like experience nor to see another waste of time and resources ala the cannabis roll out.
Decriminalize and let private practitioners and industry take it from there.
