Must be five years ago now... got a phone call from one of my clients one day. She was all upset because she got a bad review on TERB. I said to her "What? What a TERB?" <LOL> The rest is history.

Same as a few others, graduated from Canbest (what a clunker that was in retrospec) after a SP, I regularly visited, complained to me about the bad reviews she was getting on a new board. Man, that must be at least 6 or 7 years ago???

Was looking at a site called canbest.com which is now defunct. Or at least the mpa/sp discussions section was closed down.

I lived in Vancouver at the time. I was moving back to TO and driving cross country (well as far as TO anyway) i had been researching my adult activities for the trip on canbest as well. I had it all laid out with stops in Calgary, Regina and Winnipeg. SC's sucked but found a few nice SP's along the way. I found terb via canbest in a hotel in Winniepg while using their internet service to arrange a SP visit. Wish i had found it sooner. But thats really when my serious hobbying life started. I BLAME TERB!

Many many moons ago, there was a link from theredzone, called johns corner, and from there, i found terb, in its infantile form. back then, terb was all reviews and reviews only and no gave us useless lists as their top 5 of this and that.

Truthfully I was scanning ads on the redzone and one of the advertisers copied her review and referred to TERB. I forget which one. TERB was in its pre VBulletin days. Threads were linked BBS style. I lurked for the first year before registering.

Someone posted https://merb.cc on a forum that I`m an active member on: tranceaddict.com and when I was like, WTF that`s pretty cool, someone mentioned there`s a "https://terb.cc". That was like 6 days ago. The rest is history.

Summer of 2000, I was trying to put together infor for a stag weekend. Ended up finding Canbest first, then moved to TERB (probably from a Canbest post or link, by the fall of 2000. Had actually just started into my limited outcalls experience, when I found Canbest, so it was not like it got it started, however my MP life definitely got a jump start from reading Canbest and TERB. There were also a few other board around at the time but their names escape me for the most part (except for BigDoggie Toronto).
