Funny I just ran into this thread, I'm a 26 year old V, and it is ALREADY unbearable. I just have no luck with girls, and the fact that I have no confidence and I'm not the greatest looking guy around (a 5/10 probably), I seem to get nowhere. Seeing an SP has been a thought of mine for a while, however, it's sort of weird how to put this, but part of me is almost ashamed/embarassed, not only just seeing an SP in general, but the fact that my first HAD to be an SP. Other issues like money and safety are also important factor.
Ok... Seeing an SP for your first time is nothing to be ashamed about - really. The ladies are there to provide a service; admittedly it's not like getting a haircut, but a service none the less. What's important is that you are ok with the idea. Furthermore, It's ok to be nervous... trust me, we've all been there. However, it's nothing to be embarrassed about. I'd even go so far as to say that if you decide to go through with it, let the agency know ahead of time so they can suggest someone suitable to your needs. It will make things go a lot smoother, IMHO. Believe me, it's not an issue for an SP - they've seen it all. Just relax and have a good time.
It will also help you in other areas as well. Once you do it, you won't have the "V" thing hanging over your head, and you can take a more relaxed approach with civilian women. This will help build your confidence and make you more attractive to them. Also, it's not like you have to advertise it. If a woman questions you about your sexual history, you will be able to say that you've played the field a bit (which will be true) without going into any details.
As far as safety goes, condoms are a must. SP's are just as concerned about their health as you are about yours. "Play Safe" is the name of the game. Keep in mind, as long as you go to a reputable agency or independent, you will most likely end up with a "girl next door", someone who could be in your English Lit class... etc..
Money: Set a budget and don't go over it. The hobby can be addictive, so use discretionary income only. I know that will be tough, especially at the beginning when it is a true novelty for you. You may want to save up a bit first, so you can have a few sessions in a short period of time to get the monkey off your back, as it were.
Hope this helps!
