I am sure this topic has been discussed many times on Terb, but I cannot seem to locate appropriate threads.

I am looking for a cheap hotel/motel in Mississauga or Toronto which rents by the hour, no questions asked. The reason for my request should be obvious.

Thanks.

I seem to remember that there used to be ads on Craigslist for cheap hotels by the hour, but i cannot find them now.

I would suggest you make sure before booking a room in a cheap hotel/motel that the person you intend on bringing there is OK with visiting you at this place.

Many agency/indies won't do outcalls to motels or lower end hotels.

Thanks for the advice. This will not be a liason with an SP, however, but with someone I met on the net. Of course, I would alert her about the place we are going to in any case.

Didn't you also ask: "No questions asked?"? I think most or all hotels require your passport, a recognized credit card and/or diriver's license.
You mean you can't just hand the clerk a wad of cash and sign the hotel registry as John Smith anymore? :D

Certainly there are hotels around that operate on a "no questions asked" basis. I used one years ago for a couple of hours. The problem is that they tend to be sleazy dives. I am not looking for something palatial, but something that is functional, clean and comfortable. And cheap, of course!

Places like Motel 6 and Admiral Inn's have a cheaper day rate and they are not sleazy looking.

Thanks for all the responses. Several good choices that are convenient.

This seem to be much more common in NYC. In Toronto i have experience with some motels along Dundas by 427 that offer day rate. 4 or 5 hour from what i know to be.

I think they are legally required to ask for government issued ID (at least that was how it was explained to me).
