Have a little fling going on and we're having a hard time finding a place to meet. Was wondering if there was any decent (ie not a total dirty hole in the wall) in the downtown or yonge / eg area that didn't require ID and was someone cost effective?

Don't know about the "no id" policy; because when I was having my fun, didn't have a joint credit card with the wife; so it wasn't a concern - but I like the Stratchona on York St... 100 bucks, nice enough for the money, and great location. Plus it's small, so very unlikely to run into anyone.
Also used the Roehampton Inn up at Yonge and Eg a few times, but was a little out of the way for my tastes...

Man they don't CARE! They see so much stuff you will be quckly forgot about.Possibly another woman who isn't my mom and who would be pissed that i was having a "fling"
use your head and if you can't offer something constructive don't use that big hole on the front of your face.
Most big name hotels respect your privtacy.
Just go to the best price and nearest one and stop worrying.
Check out the Comfort Inn on Dundas east. Also a bunch of reasonable priced hotels/motels around (NOT Filmore's!!)
Just book the room with a CC and pay the bill in cash, that way you will not have the charge show up on your bill. The only problem would be if you have a really low limit on the card, the hotel will put a pre-authorization charge on the card of about $500 in case of damages. If you mean no ID as in pay cash and don't show any ID, I doubt any hotel that would be that lax would be very nice.
get one of those CC's that you put money on from Moneymart/Gas Station/Shoppers and priceline it. You'll get some really good deals that's what I do
