hotel downtown

I have been inactive for a bit but am wondering if any of you have input on hotels downtown. I know there are threads if they are SP friendly and from my past experience most are so that should not be an issue. I hope. My question is more on the order in terms of accommodation and value. I am currently looking at the Holiday Inn on Carlton street. I have not stayed there before and reviews say it is nice but small rooms. My previous experiences have been a little more upscale but I right now most of my previous locations are sold out.

Does the team here have any thoughts on this specific hotel or can advise if this is a good location?

Try hotwire.com, and go with a 3.5 star hotel or better. It's never failed me

I would love to stay around $200 to $250 but am seeing everything being much more. My usual are either sold out or at $400+. The holiday inn is currently at $250 and up.

Airbnb. I got a penthouse 2 bedroom condo for $200/night.

Go to either booking.com or hotels.com and compare prices and availability. My favourite is the Double Tree Hilton on Chestnut Street. Very nice and friendly with easy access.

Wow, that sounds like a lot. There must be some kind of event going on downtown. I can usually get something for $120-$150/night.
