They must have known about this guy for a while
Nurses and staff pretty much know all the gossip behind the scenes (you can always ask an OR nurse who the best surgeons and skill level are, they see the complication rates first-hand)
It is next to impossible to get four busy doctors in a hospital to stop work and get them together for an impromptu "line-up" yet they serious enough and convinced these four to do it
I'm not even sure what that proves or disproves or if it is even allowed in court as evidence
