If you're a wasp you might not wanna stick around for his one. I never knew hornets ruled the world like they do:

That fucker probably placed a puddle of honey in the middle of nowhere.

And the retarded insects don't know it's a bait.

I hate both of those little fuckers! A close to a phobia as one could get.
I mistakenly stepped next to a wasp nest in the ground a few years ago. Got stung 14 times and it fucking hurt like hell for days. Underground nests can be huge.

I saw one of those Japanese Giant Hornets in person. They look cool in videos, less so when one is buzzing around you trying to decide whether it wants to fuck your shit up or not. Did I mention they spit acid, and you can’t kill them because crushing them releases pheromones that attract more of them?

Also found a huge Mukade in my hotel room. Fuck those things too.

What did you do with that mukade?

I tried to smash it with one of those big guide books they have in every hotel room. Thought I got it, but it turns out Mukade are demon spawn sent by the devil, himself, and thus require +1 or better weapons to hit, so the little fucker shrugged it off and ran under a cabinet. Didn’t see it again, but I was paranoid the rest of the trip.

Seriously, though, Mukade are notoriously difficult to kill. Tough little bastards.

I have nests of the bald faced (big black and white) wasps on my property. They sting you bad.

I once grabbed something close to a nest and got about a dozen stings on my hand. I had to go and lay down for a while.

Just 2 days ago I got stung by a yellow jacket in the chest...as I was sitting on my car (good thing I wasn't driving yet) after fishing. It was nasty, swollen right away and paintful for 2 days.

I have a gas trimmer at my cottage which I use with a saw blade to go through brush. One time, I sliced right through a hornets nest (little yellowjackets) I was wearing coveralls and gloves and didn't even realize it until I kept feeling these stings on my ears, my neck, on my wrists, on my legs. Finally realized what was happening so dropped everything and ran, stripping off outer layers. When I got to the house, there were still wasps clinging to areas (eg: Under my arms). I don't know how many times I was stung, but my ears and face/neck swelled to to a point where the skin was turning colour. It took a few days for the swelling to go down - and the skin where I was stung multiple times was HOT - you could actually feel the heat. My forearms looked like Popeye arms. When the swelling went down the areas became super-itchy. It took about 2 weeks to clear up.

Another story - I have barn at my cottage and one summer it had a massive paper wasp nest in the garage hanging down from a rafter. Massive and active - probably thousands of wasps. My Dad was up for the weekend and he had this technique from his childhood that we used which was very "old school" (no insecticides). We waited until night-time - filled some old paint cans with rags and kindling and set them down on the ground and lit them. Then we opened the garage and knocked the wasp next down using a broom and stood back. The wasps saw the moving flames and flew in to sting the the only thing they saw moving. You could see lines of them just flying straight into the fire. Worked perfectly.

To get rid of the yellow jackets that nest in the ground, I go out at night and expands the hole. Then my secret weapon is a mix of gasoline and diesel fuel, which burns a long time.
