There is no doubt the liberals want to tax home owners. I think it was 2016 when you had to start reporting your house sale on your federal tax return.
They want to see how much money they can rake in.

Let`s see. I`m 68 years old, worked 45 years straight, sometimes worked 2 or 3 jobs same time for a few years when needed, and never took a dime from the government, ever. I now own my 4th house and yes I get all the government cheese, CPP, OAS, GST credits, Trillium, OSHPTG. On top of two company pensions. More work and less pissing and moaning pays well. There`s likely a bunch of guys just like me on TERB too.

Obviously someone who is as successful as you must have achieved this wealth through nefarious and illegal means.

Actually, Carney has adopted so much of the Conservative platform that if he wins, it may get better anyway. Liberal supporters don't even realize how much of his platform was actually copied from the Conservatives.

I doubt that will work either given the Rich determine politics. Look at the Capital Gains. If the Liberals didn't make exceptions and applied equally instead of the just the Rich, it would have been less controversial a la late 90s.

Yes as I noted both PP and Carney had a conflict of interest in the capital gains cancellation and the press did not call it out. Quite shockingly neither did Comrade Singh!!! I guess his Maser was paid for by capital gains.
