Holy Rollers at the Strip Club

Went to the Barefax a little while ago, was early evening. There were 3 middle aged well dressed women there giving gifts to strippers. I asked a regular girl what their deal was. Apparently they are a Christian group who go twice a month. They tell the girls things like "you're so pretty, you don't need to be doing this" and give them chocolates.

They cast a few dirty looks my way as I was one of the only patrons. I offered to buy one a drink and she sneered and walked away. Anyone ever see them?

That's an interesting tactic. I hadn't encountered them when I was in Ottawa. The girls aren't going to be swayed by this. It's particularly vile because you're invading someone's place of work with bad intentions. Management should get them out right away as they aren't buying drinks (I assume) and they aren't buying dances. They're disrupting the flow of business.
It's kind of funny because every once in a while when I'm chatting up a girl, I'll ask if she wants to go somewhere private so we can discuss their favourite bible verses. It's obvious that I'm not serious about that last part, and is good for a chuckle. A good sense of humour goes a long way.

...and LOT of dirty sh*t went down in the bible too! One of my holy roller friends gets paid to sing at three Masses every weekend and has been spending all he makes on a weekly visit to a stable of SPs for the past 10+ years. Heaven is where you find it, between the pages or between the sheets.

I fully agree about religion and spirituality being the saving grace for some people.... when I was a choir boy & altar boy, my church was Our Lady Of Perpetual.... MOTION!' However, I was one of those that said NO, Father!!! Then, later in life, a lady named 'Grace' was my executive assistant and I always appreciated how important "Amazing Grace" was to me! Then I found my "Faith" ... Faith Moniifque, if you remember her...an OIC Companion. I believe she retired or moved away during Covid.... I do believe she is the most physically attractive young lady whose company I have shared....several times... Oh, please I 'Hope' you can bring back my 'Grace' and my 'Faith'!
