Im curious on something, I have read very positive reviews on Hollywood , I emailed them on Monday wondering the availability of a lady for this Friday or Saturday eve, asked a couple of very tame questions about her, and never got a response, thinking perhaps the email was overlooked I resent it Wednesday evening, confirming I would be in Toronto on Saturday evening, and as of now, I have not recieved a response, is this normal? do they not do bookings via email? any suggestions?

Maybe some agencies don't take emails as seriously as phone calls. I've used hollywood 3 times - I call them - and I always get a good response, and good service.

I'd have to agree with punter. Phone usually seems to be more reliable. However, I'm not quite sure why this is.

It seems to me that if the agency, or any business for that matter, is offering e-mail as a form of communication, they better damn well reply to it as promptly as possible. If not, they are only risking frustrating a potential client.

I could almost accept this more readily from an indie as she has to spend time seeing clients (during which time she should not answer the phone and is away from her computer) as well as answering phone calls and setting up apppointments and anwering the myriad of questions potential clients have. But an agency, which by definition implies a larger operation with people dedicated to manning the phones etc., has no excuse whatsoever to not reply within 8 hours, IMO. It is poor business practise and sets a poor example of their reliability, not to mention dedication to their clientele.

Hollywood has replied to me

Hollywood may not answer any specific questions. All it can tell you is if a particular lady is available at a particular time. You can book her and then you have to confirm it by phone call. Outcalls are legal for companionship. If you ask a question if the SP will give you a particular type of service then Hollywood may not answer these questions. For type of service offered by a SP, you are better off obtaining this information from the board or its members.

I will likely still use Hollywood at a later date, although I have made other arrangements for tonight already, but concur that it does affect the credibility when they dont respond,

As far as answering specifics about a lady or service offered, I understand and agree that they cannot answer those, in this case I feel the 2 questions were very tame, not at all sexually oriented , infact the questions were,
does the lady enjoy baby oil massages and showering together?

If these questions are to explicit for them to answer, they should have at least offered her availability, and if they were unsure of that, tell me as well

Lack of response

I tend to agree, but I believe Stephanie (who handles the phones) just had a baby, and perhaps they are just short staffed on office help. The past couple times I called them, they were cordial, helpful and prompt with information and replies.

E-mail is great with independents and for advanced booking, but it just doesnt seem to be the best choice with agencies (except for Allisons).
