It seems some hockey players are selling their homes. Is it because they've realized they can't afford the extravagant lifestyle with them being out of work for a year? Apparently Sundin just sold his, Mogilny has lowered his price after being on the block for a while....and Jason Arnott is selling his place in Wasaga Beach for $1.55 million. Arnott's place is viewed by appointment only, and you have to qualify just to see it. It's a nice place from the outside, but I don't know if it's worth that kind of money.

I have no sympathies for anyone in hockey right now. The players and owners can't get along...fine. They don't want to play - fine.

I hope this work stoppage goes on until both sides can learn to play ball with each other.

I wish that I had the problem of having to unload a $1.5million home like Arnott has.That would be a welcome problem.

Belfour sold his home in Forest Hill last November (guess he saw the writing on the wall early).

I can't remember exactly how much it sold for, I think 5 million, the thing that got me was he had a heated driveway. No need to shovel, just turn on the heat.

Must be nice to have money to burn (no pun intended).

I know Mogilny was trying to unload his place in the Bridal Path, I think for 5 million as well. Antropov sold his place for 1.5 million about 8 months ago.

realistically, even if I just had 1 million in the bank, I could survive for a more than a few of years
hopefully I'll never get used to the fancy life and stick to food basics and walmart

Remember theres 700 players in the world to play in the NHl, so the money has to go somewhere.
