Like a lot of men I had a LTR with kids. It became a sentence without sex for too long and ended in a financial mess.
Since then I had new relationships but it is work to make it work. Those ended and just ventured out purely for companionship and sex. We as men cannot deny we need sex. Having said that, there is also no substitute for sleeping next to a woman that you love and can make you happy and who will gladly suck you off and fuck you.

I'm speaking in generalities. I do know that there are exceptions to everything. "Happiness" is a result of many factors. But, our society has been designed for group effort, from raising children to the general economic well-being of the whole countries.

There are plenty of happy single people. So many that I wouldn’t call it an “exception” but completely another way of living.
