Gilbarian I don't think it's appropriate to derail the discussion. You seem to be going in a different direction than the poster and Jessica were going. The poster commented how some hostesses are feeling uncomfortable with kissing and other intimacy in light of covid. Jessica simply opened the door and said that if the poster has any concerns he is welcome to discuss them directly with her.

You then went off in a completely different direction resurrecting claims that management has allegedly dismissed unsafe working conditions in the past. Did I miss something here or do you have an axe to grind ? If anything the poster's comments support the opposite - i.e. the fact that the studio fully respects that some hostesses are uncomfortable at this time with kissing and certain types of contact.
I didn't quote Jessica, I quoted MaverickPunter (who brought those issues into this discussion).

Have you ever taken a step back and asked yourself how you can simultaneously conceive of the women at Brass as goddesses and completely dismiss their testimony about unsafe/unjust working conditions (ie. framing them as gripes and allegations)?

Just seems like a bizarre contradiction. If I thought someone was a goddess I'd listen to their experiences and trust their word.
Brass is literally the only place that has full time administrative staff on shift with no exceptions/ written and signed incident report with accountability on follow up for any complaint, a daily questionnaire about how the hostesses felt about each and every session, offers free boundary through a professional third party and has two safety reps: one being a hostess and one being an administrative staff just in case the hostess doesn’t feel comfortable talking to me. Unlike like other clubs, you will never find a hostess alone in our establishment and you will never ever see a hostess having to close the business by herself. We never put our staff in this kind of jeopardy. We can guarantee that their is not one other establishment in town that takes as much as a quarter of the safety measures that we do.
I can confidently and proudly make the statement that the Brass Club is absolutely the safest place for a hostess to work in Ottawa.
If you’re so informed about these allegations, I’ll be pretty sure that you’ve followed these conversations to the end and found out that these girls never had any allegations or complaints or incident reports until after they left or were fired as disgruntled employees.
At Brass, we are a professional establishment, we put our hostesses safety above all else and when an issue is brought to us, we solve it like grown ups.

Point noted. Wasn't referring to the Brass Goddesses, but to the griping, sniping and whinging on this thread.

Have edited my original comment to avoid any clarity issues. Hope that works.

Note: What does "simultaneouslpost, y" mean? A mélange of "simultaneously" and "post"?

I mean, most of what you just described sounds like a bunch of deliberately arduous, exhausting red tape for employees to struggle through in order to report a concern -- an intentionally convoluted mess designed to dissuade reports and slow-roll any actioning of those concerns.

And no shit recently disciplined/fired employees are going to be more frequent whistleblowers. They're less scared of managerial reprisals.

I'm curious, have you ever spoken publicly about the club's ability/willingness to blacklist dangerous clients? How exactly does that work when clients are able to visit anonymously, at times when different staff members are working?

Note: What does "simultaneouslpost, y" mean? Is that a spelling error? A grammar error? A new word? A juxtaposition of "simultaneously" and "post"? An attempt at Psychoanalysis?
A typo.

True. Spelling is different from grammar.

What is "homemade ass grammar"?

Should "homemade" be hyphenated, ie "home-made"?

If you had ever been to Brass, you would know that unlike other clubs, were members only with no exceptions and their has been multiple incidents where clients have made hostesses uncomfortable and those members were effectively banned.

While, I’m not going to discuss the ins and outs of our operation, we are fully capable and have been successful in banning inappropriate clients.
If you truly believe for a second that providing the hostesses with safety reps, training that teaches them that they are allowed to have boundaries, say that their not confortable and providing them with paper trail that would enable them to hold management accountable if management does not act on their complaints, is red tape to make it more difficult for the hostesses than I’m sorry I can’t help you and I doubt anyone else can.
