I'd have to disagree with this one. I've met many girls, even in that center of debauchery known as Roppongi, who are actively looking for a foreign boyfriend. This doesn't mean they aren't having flings left and right and sampling as much foreign meat as they can, but I think ultimately many of them are looking to find a good foreign bf (preferably a rich banker type who works in the nearby Roppongi Hills). There are plenty of these types in Japan, usually the ones who have studied abroad and would eventually like to live overseas.

In my experiences here, I find I end up with the one night stand types LESS in Roppongi meat markets and more in regular Japanese clubs where there are fewer foreigners and none of the girls speak English. You go to those places, speak a bit of Japanese, and you can land yourself a geniune J-hottie who really is just curious about getting fukked by a foreigner. Much more enjoyable experience as well, as you are usually their first foreigner

You still have to have a modicum of game to get tail in Japan though, unless you are young and really good looking (blonde hair and blue eyes is best). I mean, if you just go to Roppongi and smell of desperation the girls are going to sense that. I've known plenty of foreigner here who would regularly strike out in Roppongi, not because they were horrible losers, but because they went expecting to get laid that night and it showed.

That being said, if you have decent game and have no problem talking to lots of women, you should do fine. If you are young and good looking, you will do ridiculously well. Threesomes, karaoke sex, the whole nine yards. It's out there, but you have to put in a little work to get it.

I have seen some very beautiful Japanese girls, but they are few and far between and as I have said it much easier to find pretty Korean, Chinese ladies or other Asian ladies than Japanese girls who often have thunder thighs and misaligned teeth. Orthodontists in Japan must make a fortune in areas where correction of misaligned teeth is in vogue. The allure of Japanese females seems to be not physical but their mannerism, feminity and servititude to males as compared with females in other parts of the world. Things that are not pleasing to the eye maybe pleasing to the touch.

Go anywhere in Tokyo proper, especially Shibuya, Omotesando, Roppongi, Shinjuku, or Ginza and you will see an incredible amount of very hot women. Maybe a lot of it has to do with the fact they are very fashionable and then, but whatever it is every foreigner I've known who has spent any decent amount of time around Tokyo has come down with a bad case of the yellow fever.

Another thing is that while it isn't hard to get laid in Japan, don't buy into the myth that the most gorgeous Japanese girls throw themselves at foreigners. Having been here long enough to know who the true cream of the crop girls are, I'd have to say it's very rare to see a 8 to 10 with a foreigner. 7s are easy enough to manage, but the stunners seem to speak no English and almost always are with Japanese guys.

most of the good looking women are married? Yeah maybe if you are in your mid 30s and looking for similarly aged women. Obviously that stands to reason. Like anywhere else in the western world though, there are a plethora of HOT single 18 to 25 year olds out there if you are young enough to get their attention. I work in Shibuya, and I'd say 80% of the females there are under 24 and about 50% are attractive, and I highly doubt many of them are married. Pretty good ratio as far as I'm concerned.

I've been to a few service places in Japan (I'm not Japanese... Filipino/Korean, born in Canada but I speak Japanese fluently enough) while my friends were visiting Japan and they are pretty good. The pros and places that do let you in are pretty much rip-offs, so you have to be careful. There are a couple of different kind of places you can try out in Japan, but if you don't know any Japanese or you aren't with someone who is capable of communicating fluently in Japanese, you aren't going to get in:

Pink Salons - Basically your ordinary rub and tug place. Usually costs around 4000 - 5000 yen. Not suprisingly, these are the places that are most open to foreigners since they don't offer full service.

Health Salons - No sex here, make sure you understand that before you go in. Basically Health Salons are places where you can "play" with a naked girl for however long you want. There's no intercourse, no finger play, no oral. Nothing. You're simply fondling and making kissy with them. Most places don't allow foreigners because foreigners usually think they're getting screwed over in these places and raise a big stink over it.

Soaplands: you've probably heard of these places before... basically a naked girl gives you a soap bath with her naked body and then you proceed to do the nasty. Most places don't allow foreigners.

I know of one Pink Salon in Shibuya that my friends and I went to about three years ago, called 21st Century World or something like that, and they allowed foreigners. Some places in Kabukicho (an area of Shinjuku, East Exit) also allow foreigners, but it's best to ask.

Hope that helps. By the way, most of these places usually don't employ Japanese girls... it's usually Chinese, Filipino, etc, so if you're looking for the real deal, follow the advice in this thread and hit up some clubs instead. If you're coming to Tokyo I can give you some places to visit.

I wouldn't say rare. More like 20% chance success ratio. Rare would be less than 5% chance of success.
