I'm sure a great many of us have, at one time or another had the opportunity to see agency girls "on the side, privately". While sheer economics tends to be the impetus for these arrangements, is it ethical?? Moreover, does/should ethics even enter into the world of hobbying at all??
These are interesting questions, no doubt. Of course, who you are (e.g Hobbyist, SP, or agency) will dictate your viewpoint. On the surface, it seems win win for the SP/hobbyist. The client ends up paying less, and the lady still takes home more than if the transaction were above board and filtered through her workplace. The problem is, the agency gets screwed, and not in a good way!
After all, if it wasn't for the agency, the hobbyist would not have met the SP in the first place. Secondly, the agency is picking up the tab for the ladies promotion and other related costs. So is it really just business, or should dealings on the side be abhorred by one and all?? I would be interested in hearing from all sides in this issue.
