Was with a sp recently, first time seeing her. But it was something I never felt before I couldn't go in too deep maybe 2-3" as it felt like I was hitting a wall and it was irritating for me to go any further. Maybe some females can chime in to what was going on? My thoughts were that it was some sort of contraception?

Not all women are shaped the same. Anecdotallly I have experienced vagina which are deeper or shallow based upon how much the little head makes contact with the cervix.

Maybe you were hit bone. Her cervix can feel like that. Maybe it was the position too. You won’t be able to get as deep with me in doggie then you can in missionary. Just the way my body works.
