Well, I disagree totally. He's an ass yes, but an ass for letting the chick sit down. That shows how much he respects his gf. Sorry if you disagree but I basically had that happen with an ex gf of mine (and there's a whole thread on the subject) and it ain't nice...in the least.

This scene was obviously staged.

...you'll find that there are several of such skits online...and that they are not staged, as one includes a (minor) fight...and on a few occasions they invite the couples to talk about it later...

So they set up a few cameras, and the girl snatched the note when she tried to hand it to him, which is what I would expect.

They also probably did this several times over the course of a week, and only show the most suitable one (including the one where they got releases from the participants)

You might also notice that many of the other (actors) have their faces blurred...meaning they could not get releases from those people

All that said, what difference does it make? Either the guy was acting an ass...or his "character" was acting an ass....either way, it was funny.

It isn't rocket science...first, didn't your dad / mom / big brother tell you you dance with the girl you brought to the party? Second...the reason they told you that was because if YOU were the "GF" in this situation, how would you feel?

Not only is it the gentlemanly thing to do...it is the decent thing. If a guy doesn't know that, he deserves no "break"...he is just an ass.

This isn't moral superiority...I'm not claiming we don't all (well, most of us...self included) cheat if / when the opportunity presents.

But I know*I* have enough self control and respect for the person I am in a relationship with to not openly embarrass and humiliate them.
