The number of guns used in legitimate acts has nothing to do with the number of guns used "inappropriately" i.e. for homicides & suicides. Gangbangers are going to kill each other (and sad people are going to kill themselves) whether or not Wendy protects her kids from a crazed lunatic because she has a gun.
And no, the legitimate use of guns is NOT microscopic... the number of justifiable HOMICIDES
is microscopic... that's a GOOD THING. It means that virtually ALL legitimate uses of guns to thwart bad guys results in NO DEATHS.
