Toront Ho
I have spyware, adware, some virii and a few trojan horses on my PC after I downloaded a program from some website.

My AV picked up it all up and deleted most but some I cant get rid of.
The name of the adware is Baidu and I cannot delete the folder from my program files.

I ran hijackthis and this is the logfile:

Thanks guys for your help, I picked up a nasty virus complete with adware, spyware and 3 trojan horses

It has turned off my system Restore, I can not enter 'safe mode' anymore and its added some lame toolbar on IE.

This is the virus from hell

O2 - BHO: MEobjectSDT - {D4D5C535-BA95-4327-870D-A33826FDD17A} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\obwbkya.dll
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {406F94F0-504F-4a40-8DFD-58B0666ABEBD} - (no file)

remove those 2 for sure.
make sure you turn off system restore, when cleaning your comp up
right click my computer icon, system restore tab, check the box.

dont run hijackthis with ANY window or browsers open.

also you have to anti-virus programs running, use ONLY one ;)

oh ya, also, put hijackthis in its own folder, in your c:drive
right now you're running it from your desktop.
c:\hijackthis
that's how it should look.
pm me if you want more help Es'

Done that, but when is it OK to turn it back on again????

I do use one (AVG), the Mcafee was deleted a long time ago and I'm not sure why it keeps popping up on hijack. But the file was deleted as you can see.

best to turn it off when you know for sure everything is gonzo.
otherwise, system restore will keep it on file and it'll be there again, IF YOU EVER, restore.

do a follow up scan and pm me with your email, ill follow it up for you if you want.
