These delusional foreign guys are easy pickings for girls in the far east countries. I was in Thailand and saw guys who after sending money every month to their g/f came back to marry them only to find out that they have disappeared. As you have seen here in Canada, there are guys who get milked by girls working in clubs - convinced the attention they are getting is true love even though they leave with less money than they had entering the club.Yep all these women find you attractive. In Thailand (I heard the Philippines are similar), you enter the club just like you would a CA or similar in Canada. If you like a girl in the club you can take her out for a short time -aka quickie- ($$ + bar fee) or long time ($$$$ + bar fee). I haven't been in a while but long time could cost ~ $ 80. The girl will come home and stay with you until morning. Most will hang out with you until their next club shift. They will be just like a g/f holding hands, travelling with you, kissing, telling you she loves you longtime.
If you are gullible the girl will try to convince she is only working to pay family hospital bills, etc and that she will wait for you if you send her money each month. If the OP lives a comfortable life in the Philippines. He may not like it here in Canada unless he lives in luxury here. There is extreme poverty in the Philippines, for those people life is a misery. I do not know much about the Philippines. I can tell you a story of a Canadian guy 55 years old + that went over there and married a Philippino gir that could young enough to be his granddaughter. The guy had money, but he made himself a big hero in her village because he paid to have the main street paved, and brought in a generator so that the market place can operate after dark. The guy was rich here in Canada, but he was not a god like he is in his wifes' village.

Ermita downtown manila gets a little annoying sometimes with all the hustling. pimps everywhere selling gals for 2000pesos or 50 bucks a night. Add bar fine another 50 in the bars. Its weird I went to Angeles and thought in general in this country I'd be all over the SPs but it hasn't happened.
