Hexagonal structure on Saturn

The Cassini probe has photographed a strange hexagonal structure with a en diameter of 25.000 km around the north pole of Saturns nordpol. The hexagonal structure has maintained its position since it was discovered 26 years ago by Nasa's Voyager-1- og -2-probes.

Kevin Baines from Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory call the structure very mysterious. Its accurate geometric form with 6 almost equal puzzles scientists, because nothing like it has been found on other planets.

A modern version of the face on mars?

p.s. why the F is this in the politics section? Is this structure a Neo-con conspiracy or is it the hiding place of Saddam's WMD's?

That is how the Danes spread their conservative revolution.

Yeah, it's really taking off

Is this an alternative strategy to wooden shoes.

So the structures on Saturn were created by the powerful Danish Clogmaking consortiums to further their economic dominance?

It's not a structure, it's a polar vortex... nothing x-files here.

It's the same as on earth except that it's hexagonal instead of round.

Well sure, but what about all those bumps on Uranus

Please explain why it was formed and stays in place.

Kevin Baines notes that the thick atmosphere on Saturns tykke atmosfære with many waves and circular areas is the last place one would expect to find something like this.

well you can see that it moves so it's not hard structure.

Now to know why it is hexagonal is a good question ; maybe a discrepancy in the vortex's gravity.
But here I cannot judge... we barely explain quantum physics so let's not deal with extraterrestrial laws of physics yet.

My opinion is that it is most probably natural or gravitational as it is symmetric to the pole... and quite huge.

There is no reason to expect the laws of physics to be any different on Saturn than on earth.

As applied to Saturn.
