I'm less concerned about someone playing hostess with music in the background than I am about someone that can't answer simple questions in interviews, and starts every non-answer with "I was raised in a middle-class family" when it has no relevance to the question being asked.

That's what's so vexing. Obama is intelligent. Yet what he said was unbelievably stupid.

If I had to guess, I'd say he's been part of the elite club for awhile now since he became president his net worth went from commoner into the tens of millions. He probably hasn't spoken to or interacted with an average [black] citizen in years.

He's out of step with American culture. His privilege and power has gotten the better of him.
