Help out a newbie. What are the big red flags when looking at an AD and when you arrive?

Good Evening Everyone,

Somewhat newish to the hobby here, and have only ever played around with Asian agencies where there is at least a website and you tend to talk to the same handlers/phone numbers. I was wondering if anybody had some solid red flag tips that they could share to help me be able to know what I'd be getting into or even when to back off.

Some that I know:
-Only fans link in the ad is usually a scam
-photos that show face and body are usually fake unless supported by other photos(i.e 1 type of those photos and the rest are at different angles or things are blurred out)
-pre-booking can potentially be a scam depending on how its approached....as if the girl is just asking for it out of the blue and it's not listed on her website
-Asian photos are either something random from the net or are severely airbrushed for the most part...though some have been pretty close.
-Bait and switch can happen when you arrive with some girls.

Please add more or edit the ones I listed!|

My prime example would be this ad for a girl named Helen. Wondering if anyone notices anything off with it or how it will play out? I think she'll be a very different person from the pics that are showing, and probably much older. She also has a low hourly rate at $260 which when compared to the normal $400 seems like something would be off(i.e older or bigger lady).

Thanks for your insights and advice!

You also want to google the photos and check corresponding ads or stolen pics.

I think you've identified some pretty good indicators.
I've never seen a legit lady that is: (and they are usually a combination of)
- available 7-24, often for incalls and outcalls
- party girl (yes, some legit girls may like to 'party' so this alone many not be a deterrent if you do. Is sharing a bottle of wine 'partying'... not in my books
- offers multi hour and overnight sessions without previously meeting and/or screening potential client
- shows full face photos / very explicit photos
- offers car calls or 15 minute sessions
- has ads that include inconsistencies in size, weight... eg. 4 ft tall / 160 lbs or 5 ft. 9" tall and 89 lbs. (yes, we do see these) and/or poor spilling or frazing

If you show up and the door opens and the lady does not greet you but instead retreats to another room....quickly retreat to your car.

I'm certain many other Terbites have more to add.

Good luck!

Avoid ads that say "contact me on my OnlyFans" - it's just farming for subscribers, and is against the TOS.
Ads with "word salad" (I mentioned this in the past on here a few times).
Avoid Telegram and Signal contact methods - while Signal is fairly good, Telegram is a Russian app that mines ALL your data.
I'm sure there are others.

This may not be a red flag in itself, but providers that label or refer to themselves as "alt/alternative" or "quirky", at least to me, I've become wary of them after an underwhelming experience I had once.

when someone has a face picture, or offers one in text i'd place a bet that it's fake everytime. Who in their right mind would splash their face online in this industry.

Please tell us why we should be ashamed to be a sexworker.

Because that is what your comment screams.

I always love to hear from a client who loathes sexwork yet uses our services -
Some great examples: Gary Ridgway, The Hillside Stranglers, Samuel Little, Robert Pickton...

I considered personal discretion mostly, in public around places of work. more so in small towns but also in segregated type communities. as well as advertising the industry putting a face on the ad creates other issues.

The most important thing in my opinion is not to be greedy, you get what you pay for. If you see a price that doesn't match the girl's skills and body, don't think you are the lucky one. stay sharp and have fun.

Everyone has the right to discretion and to set boundaries around what they feel comfortable with but to say that someone is a fake or not in their right mind simply because they show their face makes no sense to me, especially as revealing your face shows a much higher level of transparency.

I have a lot of admiration for the ladies who have the courage to show their faces. Over the last decade I think it has added a lot to the humanization of sex workers that we have begun to share our faces, personalities and our stories. By doing this, we are trying to march towards a future where it is safer for sex workers to be out if they wish which in turn will only help our clients.

This is no different from any other community that has had to hide in the shadows because of social stigma and prejudice. Let’s try to be more mindful of how our perspectives on sex workers, even as clients, can reinforce the idea that there is anything morally wrong, dirty or frightening about providers. We want to be treated as full members of society and sometimes we will need to push back and take up more visible space to get there.

We are fully capable of balancing our need for public acceptance with a client’s need for privacy and discretion so please let’s just respect one another.

Things are as stuck as we want them to be. Sometimes we can simply refuse, make our own rules and watch society follow our lead. Evolution is made by things that break the rules.

Nothing in society evolves without the brave people who break the mold and fight for change.

So instead of shaming us sexworkers who show our faces and claiming we are all fakes and out of our right minds, maybe have some respect for our bravery and confidence in a profession that is more often than not looked down upon.

Your post is a cop out and a poor excuse for your words earlier.

Ahem...

I'll just put this right here, copy and paste...

Jimmy_Jones:
"when someone has a face picture, or offers one in text i'd place a bet that it's fake everytime. Who in their right mind would splash their face online in this industry."

Shaming:
"Attempts at shaming can be done through public criticism, insults, or by attempting to make someone feel ashamed of their actions or identity."

Action - Posting our faces in our advertising.
Shaming Attempt - We are not in our right minds if we post our faces publicly, there must be something wrong if we do.
