I am only 5'4" and strongly believe that women use height as a primary factor to weed out dates. Anyone below average has a hard time.

Funny, I am 6'-2" and have never considered it to be an advantage other than being able to lift stuff down from a shelf.

I've had 2 GF's who were 6' tall. One, I loved her height. She was the ideal and to this day, I have a fetish for tall women. I see a 6 footer and I am intrigued to no end.

I also had a GF who was 5'-0" and she was one of the best lays I ever met. Just a little bundle of sexual energy. Though, to be honest, I prefer the tall ones myself.

It's funny cause my long term GF was about 5-6 and I lived with her for years. She had a certain size to her, height, shoulder width, etc. I got used to it. A few months after we broke up, I slept with the 6 foot ex mentioned above and I was AMAZED at the size of her. Even though she was very slim and trim, she was 6 feet tall, with size 10 or 11 feet, big hands, and very wide shoulders. I remember laying in bed with her again after years and was very conscious of just how "big" she was.

It was fucking great.

Another funny thing about size is that I think we perceive ourselves as smaller than we really are.

On a couple of occasions, I have remarked about the height of some guy, or his physical size as a whole to someone in conversation and they have respondeed, "you're bigger than him".

When you are looking out of your own eyes, you really can't compare your size to someone else's.

JAMES T KIRK - yeah, guys do perceive themselves smaller than we are....I saw a sex show on it....that's why buffed guys keep on buffing up...because they feel small.

When in fact, the study showed women prefer regular men, not buffed men. This is kind of off topic since this is not related to height.

Short men make up in other ways. I find they are more social, outgoing, chatty because I guess they always had to fight for attention.

I'm purely speculating at this point.

I heard or read a story once that Abraham Lincold was asked how tall a man should be (and Lincoln was quite tall), and he answered:

Tall enough for his feet to reach the ground.

so um who on this board is over 6 ' 4:D
6'4" and shrinking !! I have had extra attention due to my height over the years, most of which is great - I feel very lucky, 'though it's impossible to really take any credit for it...I could have just as easily been 5'9" like my brother. A few minor down-sides: "How's the weather up there? ha-ha". "You must have played basketball in school, right?". "Would you mind reaching XXXXX for me?" "Wow, you're tall, eh?" (Not sure what the expected response is to that one even now!) "Is everything long on you?" (This last one happens a lot in Strip Clubs and sadly, the answer is no). However, on balance, I like being tall, and would choose to be tall if there was such a choice to be made.

I get that too. My usual response is 'do you want to check out my 8" heels?'
