total Fucking sadness. Was waiting to see him be "Joker" in the next Batman film. Very dynamic actor...good films of his was Lords of Dogtown,The Brothers Grimm, and Casanova wasn't bad. He will be missed

Do you think they will delay it out of respect for him and his family? Or do you think it's possible to may not even release it or recast the Joker and reshoot his scenes? I hope not! I was really looking forward to this movie... the previews looked amazing!

You're right, Hollywood are a bunch of heartless animals, they will probably use Heath Ledger's death as a way to market the movie... maybe even hold him up by some strings to film any remaining scenes...

Wow.

What does this mean for The Dark Knight?
Wow. That's your first thought? A frick'in movie? Get your priorities in order this guy just lost his life and his family is obviously devastated and your concern is for a comic book movie? What the hell is happening in society today? Can't we just feel bad for the guy for a minute before we move on to more important things like a movie?

What a shame.
Can't comment on him as a person but this guy became a great actor.
His performance in "Brokeback" was absolutely brilliant...by far, the best performance of that year from what I had seen.

Nothing on the outside can make it better if you can't come to terms within yourself. Usually this kind of stuff doesn't affect me in the least but for some reason I am very saddened by this particular tragedy.

Rich, good looking , movie star, new child...... makes this really hard to understand. First thing I thought of was Michael Hutchins.

Very sad.

I hope it was an accidental OD. His fiance and baby girl dont need to have a suicide hanging over them. I feel really bad for them all. RIP Heath

Never really felt any sort of sorrow when celebrities pass away. Some public servants, but not actors/actresses.

Aw... c'mon... girls found him to be hawt. Therefore, an ugly actor should have died instead. Thank God Owen Wilson's suicide attempt failed. Right girls?
