Long shot as the place is tiny and a bit remote, but wondering if anyone knows of any action in/around Samara. Too far to San Jose or Jaco. Tks.

The main place in Jaco beach is the Cocal Hotel. It's a 2-3 Star hotel with basic rooms onsite and condos next door. I thought the condos a bit pricey. I paid about $100 US/night for a hotel room with a basic breakfast included.The Cocal is really a brothel 24/7 with most of the girls showing up from 7 pm and later. Security onsite and I found the staff to be polite .There is a good and more extensive review in this section.
