My point is, you ain't gonna see much out the window of a moving train, half of which will be at night. And, the view is pretty much the same if there aren't any mountains. I've made the drive many times. The first one would have done it for me.

Still, it is worth doing atleast once. The exprience of sleeping on a train is unique.
