Have you noticed a different in restricted news since the new bill came out?

No. I don't get my news from FB or the like. I just go to Newspapers directly via subscription (support Canadian News!). For Trump & Bob, it's over Twitter so no difference.

I’m not on Twitter so I wouldn’t get it from there. I’m on FB over Snap or Instagram too.

Thankfully I have TERB and most bring the relevant news here.

Banning Canadian news on FB has cleaned up a ton of my feed.

Getting that news garbage off really improves my anxiety.

No. Quite the opposite actually. But they at least reported on actual events. Sure they spun them… some far worse than others…. But they did report. Now, a few of them made things up. Fox got sued for stolen election coverage.

But now thanks to Trudeau’s law… any idiot with an opinion he molested kids at his school is free to say that, as it’s not technically “news” from a news source. The misinformation only gets worse, and the idiots eat it up faster.

censorship is dumb.

However… it was unfair that FB and Google posted others content and collected advertising revenue while shutting out the content creators. It was intentional and had to be dealt with.

I haven’t noticed any difference…but I don’t use Facebook. I haven’t noticed any change with Google either.
