I see some Cuba vacations advertised at excellent prices, Both Cuba and Dominican are open to Canadians with flights starting soon. Has anyone flown anywhere, did you feel safe?

I have resigned myself to no International travel for the rest of the year and probably through next year as well. It's not worth the risk to me, nor is the quarenteen coming home my work will enforce.

I'm just banking money and not worrying about it. If a vaccine hits I will get it and then consider it depending on destination.

I probably would be around 30 flights by now.
It's only 8 since March so far (Plus 6 before COVID)

I think that the risk and hassle coupled with so many other factors beyond our control make vacation travel , both domestic and internationally impractical for the forseeable future for most of us.

You have to quarantine when you arrive back into Canada for 14 days. plus the two weeks vacation. then you are looking at 4 weeks. Cuba' open to foreign tourist on July 1, 202O, but currently only Phase 2, to the Cayos only. Are there jinetaras in Cayos ?

Probably not flying for the next year or so maybe longer. 2 reasons.

1. Not a good time to travel. Think about how the Toronto experience has been decimated due to the pandemic (events, nightlife, restaurants, bars, sports) and we barely got hit by Covid. Any major metro youre travelling too will be heavily affected also so you'll be getting a subpar experience.
2. While I can afford to travel, id rather save money because the economy has me shook right now and the worst may not be over. So I prefer to save cash.

I've given up flights to fight climate change which
I believe is as deadly as coronavirus. I've
been inspired by leaders of our world, the likes of
Bernie Sanders, Al Gore and David Suzuki, to realize
that flying is fine only for the elites traveling around to
promote their cause.

In April maybe 25% full, May 30%, Jun-July 60-75%.

The major problem is that there are so few flights, all domestic could be packed.

Who, has the option 'not to fly' when you provide essential service?
Unless you physically fixing something or serving someone what can't you do remotely these days?

I cancelled my vacation earlier this year, however I am going to travel next February. I don’t care about the quarantine when I get back, enough is enough.

I had a trip booked that was canceled because of COVID. There I have 2 years to use about $5k in vacation funds. So I will travel, maybe end of the year. I can work from home, so that will be fine and I am not spending additional money, just using what I already paid out.
