Never have and don't have any desire to. The systems is in tatters as it is so dodging fares doesn't help.

I don't use the subway much but I remember walking into the sheppard station one time, right into the trains, kept thinking I would eventually run into a pay station, I didn't so I got on the train and was on my way.

Yes but only when I was in high school. It's really easy to do it now on the streetcars.

Exactly. And people complain about fare hikes....It maybe wouldn't happen if everyone just paid their fare.

It's underfunded overall, since a lot of users don't live in Toronto it should be a provincial responsibility. I think they should also do more to generate revenue from advertising, especially in the subways. The idea of putting ads onto the tunnel walls to cover the black window spaces was floated around a while back but it never came to be.

Back in high school I use to get in the back bus doors easily & I use to have fake metro passes.

I don't even take the bus anymore maybe just street car if I'm downtown

Almost no enforcement at all. You can basically walk into any subway station without paying.
