I have been searching for items on the web for Christmas and noticed less items this year come up on eBay link. Not that I care in fact I do not like eBay or should I say Pay Pal for ripping me off in the past but it was a good resource for finding odd ball items.

E-bay has been very good to me this year.

Found some rare cylinder heads with a buy it now price that was under 50% of what they were worth 2 hours after they were offered.

Bought a rebuilt carb from Holley company itself, it got damage in shipping, Holley sent me a brand new carb for the same cost.

Made $500 trading its stock earlier this year-good thing I sold out too, even thou I could have made more $$$, I am glad I sold it now looking at its price today. :p

Pay Pal stinks, they take a cut all the time now. Even if you get a refund, Pay Pal takes a cut. When I sell something I sure am not using Pay Pal. Its like a loan sharker.

I find it to be gaining in popularity. I started selling back in 1999 and made out like a bandit the first few years. At the time, I worked for a fairly large manufacturing Company and I didn't know too many others who were selling on ebay. Seems now, eveyone I meet and their dogs are buying and selling. Now I see so many of the same extremely rare items that I have had stashed in my basement for years. Product that was once snapped up quickly now can sit in my store for months and months without moving. There is a lot more competition than before.
