I get around.
Conservative Jason Kenney inadvertently convinced me to vote Liberal:

Jason Kenney said:
"Unlike Justin Trudeau, we don't think marijuana should be sold in convenience stores. He also wants to force communities to establish illegal drug injection sites. And the Liberals also support the legalization of prostitution. He also wants to force communities to accept brothels. We don't think the values of most Canadians are to have 18 year olds buy marijuana at convenience stores and then reselling it to 16 year olds in a back parking lot."
Legal cannabis and prostitution? Plus brothels?! Those are among my values as a responsible adult. Sounded good to me! Better than anything Harper and his incompetent gang of criminals were offering.

Trudeau refers to himself as a feminist, and during the campaign his party said they'd repeal C-36. So now IMO it's up to sex workers to organize, reach out and put forward their view and offer different legislation which will work to protect them.
There are some groups doing this, so it is a matter of time and effort for when the Liberals will get around to making it a priority.

Yes, let's first make prostitution illegal, and then bring in millions of Muslim refugees, all based in the Nordic model so that we can go head to head with Sweden for being the violent gang rape capital of the world.

Lets, shall we?

I imagine some Liberals are disappointed. He promised to bring the fighter jets home. That should have been quick and easy. Not done yet.

He promised more refugees arriving. To date he is behind the numbers that Harper would have already had here on the Cons plan.

He did discuss raising the GST recently...that was a hidden agenda item... Not mentioned on the campaign trail.

Taking from the rich..to help the poor has proven disastrous. The rich only have so much... A big deficit number pending there.

The dollar has not moved anywhere.

Oil, and Albetans are in a financial mess right now. He will be in no rush to prop that up.

And of course the green plans, carbon taxing, hydro, etc....only cost Canadians more and more.

Lots of work to do. His supporters will hope he gets it done.

Don't forget he plans to change the election process to favor the Liberals.

And to do so without the consent of a referendum.

Well let's say enforcement of Bill C-36 hasn't happened yet in Toronto. Toronto police have bigger issues on their hands.

At Thursday night's Proud to Vote debate, NDP, Liberal, and Green representatives pledged that their respective parties would repeal Bill C-36, the Conservatives' anti-sex-work law, if they form government. The issue, which had barely been mentioned in this election, is apparently a matter of importance for all three of them.

Never the safest place
That was from September before the election. While the situation is gradually improving, I think there still needs to be more politicians and media willing to dispel the idiotic prohibitionist myths still being propagated, as illustrated by some of the comments under the Now article such as "The Green party is the most offensive - they actually think that some women are content being prostitutes!"
I guess she finds the truth to be "offensive".

Most media, politicians, and therefore the general public still don't seem to understand (or refuse to acknowledge) that every large city has hundreds of sex workers who should be the most important ones to be consulted about what laws should and shouldn't exist. Once they are acknowledged and consulted, the debate will hopefully become more honest and about practical reality instead of the dishonest or ignorant prohibitionist idealogues who want our laws to be silly, pointless, nonsensical, impractical, abstract statements of disapproval that will not be enforced.
