Yes, I have the 2nd gen B+ model and recently got the pi 4 4gb model when it came out this summer.
What did you wanna do with it?
I'd be willing to help you find some resources and am just generally interested in this kinda stuff.
Setup a always on torrent seedbox, the wifi module is not the best but the ethernet is gigabit.
Kodi HTPC media box can be paired with a seedbox. It has a h265 hw decoder so plays 4k files quite flawlessly compared to previous models.
An emulator, you can 3d print a case and setup a retro controller.
The ideas are really endless.
It has a camera module that you can purchase separately.
Plus it has programmable GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) pins. So you can learn some electronics or build something external.
Alot of people use ardino, but the pi can do much more and it's can all be done in python, if that is something you known or are willing to learn - it can be quite rewarding.
A little explanation on the difference. This guys channel has some really neat projects, most of the shit he uses is really cheap and from china.
If you are looking for home automation or to work with a wifi you can get some really cool modules that connect to the wifi that are very low power and you can send http requests to control them.
As you look at various options where to buy the Raspberry Pi and various additional components, another (Canadian!) source to consider is https://www.buyapi.ca/
