I have been trying to book a vacation to Hawaii for awhile but the booking agent just couldn't find the time when both schedules were free. Well just when old Harry had thought the vacation would not happen he was able to get a last minute booking for the flight south.
I arrived on time and was welcomed to the resort with smiles and a hug from a most attractive lady named Shauna. She informed me that she would be my tour guide while I was there. Well old Harry thought he had died and gone to heaven. I was shown to my room and was asked if I would like to freshen up after my flight. He he, I couldn't get out of my clothes fast enough. After showering my tour guide started by showing me some of the local sights. Let me tell you the mountain region is breathtaking. I spent quite alot of time exploring the peaks and valleys enjoying every minute of my tour. As I was decending from my climb my guide offered to show me a dining establishment that she highly recommended. Who was I to say no? The restaurant was located just a short walk from the base of the mountains and let me tell you, the menu was top notch. I ate like a king and complimented the chef numerous times....although I don't think she heard me to well as I seem to be trying to talk with my mouth full. Well after dining out my guide offered me a ride on some of the local transportation. This was turning into a sweet vacation let me tell you. Little did I know that I had come during monsoon season. While we were riding around enjoying the sights we got hit with not one but two tropical storms. The power of these two storms caught old Harry by surprise but what an experience. Even though we both were soaking wet both my guide and myself seem to be happier then hell. I have never been through storms like this and the experience is planted in my memories for life.
Well as with all good things my flight home was nearing take off so I needed to clean up and make it to the airport. Would I go back and visit the "Aloha" resort....HELL YES.
Shauna...thank you for making the time together enjoyable to say the least. Also thank you for not mentioning my balding head, full body fur coat as well as the hump on my back.
