Even The Star gave it inside the section spot. Front page was reserved for an article about a Taliban double agent that was killed.

I see it as a good idea personally. Put some stimulus on the demand side. The home building supply companies are hurting big time. This will help generate new business for them, reduce layoffs and add some value to homeowners homes. Obviously it won't put an end the recession, but thats no reason not to do it.

Why would women be upset at that. It has to be fairly obvious to anyone with a brain that he's referring to men doing something nice for their wives like renovating their home.
