But, I'd entertain the moment and keep with my appointment. I did enjoy our session but it was cut very short from the hour I paid for. My session was, at best, 45 minutes.

I normally don't bother with negative reviews but to add insult to injury, I contacted Sparx to let them know what had transpired. Brittany responded to my email and let me know she would talk to her.

You'd figure that as a returning client (at least twice a month) some form of compensation. No compensation or future discounted sessions for the shorted session or overcharge.

It's unfortunate because I absolutely enjoyed Sugar's company but I will not return to Sparx/Body Basics again.

If anyone does decide to check out either location, the going rate for an hour is $180. This was in 2021 and may have increased but inquire about the rates on the website before hand so you don't get screwed over.

I definitely would recommend Sugar and Melodie. Sara is as equally as amazing too!

$250 would be highly unusual for an hour massage, usually the rate is $180. I too have had very mixed experiences at BB/Sparx. My latest session (with Cleo) very disappointing.

BB/Sparx has fallen off in the last year or so, but I will say I haven't been in a couple of months. I used to enjoy it but then prices changed and I rarely got the full 60mins. Same is true for Alpha and CMJ where the women are gorgeous but the service has underwhelmed more often than not recently. The only spa I go to these days is ALO which is crazy as, pre-covid, it was my 3rd or 4th option.

And you find ALO to be the most consistent and best value now? Is ALO better than it was or did the others worsen in your opinion? Any ALO recs from you?

Go see the MA not the spa. It is the MA that determines if there is a next visit or not.

My latest visits at ALO spa were bad. One MA didn't honor the spa special room fee (overcharged) and the other one wanted more money beyond the $180 rate to take her clothes off (received not nude, no touching session). Of course there is absolutely no repeat session with them.

ALO is the same that it has been, but the others have worsened for sure. Of course, the main factor is the lady. I have seen Ruby, who would be my favorite at ALO, but rumour has it she has retired recently. I ave also seen Fallon, Jessica, Lany, and Scarlett there. My experience with Lany was great and the others were fine too. What puts ALO ahead now, IMO, is that you pay for 60 mins and you get 60 mins eith a beautiful lady. Each of the above also have great personalities so the small talk is enjoyable too. I find at the other places, if your not paying more, the session goes cold quickly.

I guess we shall see. I have a scheduled appointment with one of the ladies I see regularly. The girls just upped their tip rates in February plus the door rates just went up. Even after all is said and done, it's still far less than what I got screwed over.

Well now. The "prizes" for extras are........ the extras!

If you meant to ask for the prices, then I suspect you will have to ask the MA beforehand. From my experience, even once you have the answer, it might change in session! So you won't know for sure until you have paid and received what you hope is the prize.

Which is why I don't go to spa's generally unless I can contact the SP via text or twitter and know in advance what the services and bill is...
