Happy New Year- what are you doing?

With everything back to somewhat of a normal, let’s heard of some of the plans ?
Big night out?
Lining up your favourite SP to ring in the new year?
Hanging out at home on the couch?

Will 2023 get us back on the right track?

Me, I’ve never been a fan of the big hoopla. I’m chilling at home with some family and friends. Might even make it till midnight

Heading out to a house party hosted by a friend.
Last held almost 3 years ago, pre Covid. God ...feels like a life time.
See folks from the theatre community.
Nosh, dance socialize.
Sleep late and nap the next day.

I think it is good to step away from the hobby from time to time.
Exist in the realm world.
To give the transactions this hobby entails some perspective.

For the science crowd, last leap year was 2020, a year on earth is actually 365 1/4 days hence adding 6 hrs each year and taking that full 24 hrs once every 4 or leap year

So in 2021 the new year technically started at 6 am on Jan 1 (adding 6 hrs to the midnight hour), this year new year is technically noon on the first and so on

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 7 series marathon. Saturday is always a Ru-Day and because there is nothing new showing until next weekend, I will be doing a re-run. Probably fall asleep by 10pm cuddling with my fur-babies on the couch just to wake up a 2am and say “shit- I missed the countdown again this year.” LOL.

oh and cheesecake will Be on the menu today. Or a DQ blizzard. Or a cheesecake blizzard. Mmmmmmmmmmm
