2. I can live in the peace and serenity of this beautiful cottage country knowing that civilization and atmosphere of actual people is only 2 hours away.

1. The outdoors. We're blessed with expansive lands, rivers, lakes that I will never, ever be able to explore fully in 20 lifetimes. It's beautiful, rugged, and in many places...completely devoid of humans.
2. We have great neighbors to the South that help us remain humble. We love them, but we don't want to be exactly like them, and that's just fine with me. Canadians are awesome, and I'm always amazed by the hospitality, and generosity shown by people all across the country when I have travel.
