Maybe we should send more aid to Isreal instead since they got their asses kicked so badly by Hamas.

Seriously though it shows why peace over there is futile. You have a group that is so in denial that how can you reason with a group that thinks it won a war where the body count was like 100 to 1 against? Or maybe they think that one Isreali life is equal to 100 Palestinian lives hence the body count was equivalent on both sides?

Body counts don't win wars. Remember Viet Nam when the Pentagon used to recite high body counts just about every day? (they have started to do the same thing in Afganistan - which is REALLY scary! ) The Islamists are willing to blow themselves up and think they will get 72 virgins (or is it 76 trombones - I can never keep that part straight) Justice for their people is more important to them than life - if they were Americans, we would call them patriot heros.

This is a type of war called Low Intensity Conflict,( I did not create the name I just repeat it). The terrorists use what ever means possible, hide in areas that are difficult if not impossible to root them out of without civilian casualties, and then stand up screaming that the casulaties are the fault of the entity defending itself.

The LIC can not win a war by itself it needs military might at some point, assuming that the targeted entity has the backbone to stand up and defend itself.

The other thing it needs is a safe harbour, during Viet NAm the harbour was Cambodia, they could rearm and rest there, for teh last little while the safe harbours for Hamas has been Gaza with Iran supplying the weapons. Hezzbolla used something similar from Lebanon last time out , the Isreali invasion into lebanon stopped the rockets and did so sucsesfully, The foray into Gaza will probably have the same effect. The people of Gaza are at some point going to say to Hamas enough is enough get out.

I can't believe it that someone is prasing israel for the amount of people killed at its hands, as if we here in canada got hold of a serial killer and get him loose in the streets of toronto, every time he kills someone we cheer him up and ask for more.

I am sure israel and its like of personalities will never have peace even with its self and its people, and definitly with others, its only matter of time until this cowardness of this giant serial killer been stopped for good.
