Does Tony Hayward of BP wear a toupee???

I say - Oh yeah, you can spot it from a mile away.

Usually, you can just picture him as a bald dude and you know.

Then there is Edge of U2 fame. I'm a big fan of Edge, but I wish he'd stop wearing that idiotic toque everywhere he goes. We all know he's bald under there, but who cares. (Well, obviously, he's very self conscious.)

He even wore it when he got married for crying out loud....

you know....at most clubs and bars...with their strict dress code - on friday, saturday nights...they make you take something like that off - bandanas, 99% of hats - so ye - they would make Edge take that toque off - if he were to ever step in front of the doors of a crowded bar/club on a friday/saturday night....so how does he get away with keeping it on? Oh ye, he's famous. I forgot.

then again....there's also Brett Micheals....

Not everyone wants to look like Patrick Stewart. I bet even Patrick Stewart doesn't want to look like Patrick Stewart.

Terminator, courtesy of several human genetics seminars I've attended, I've been disappointed to learn that Male Pattern Baldness seems to be controlled by the interactions of several genes rather than merely one "on or off" gene hence it is far more complex than was thought even a decade ago :(

Really? Not that I'm a scientist, but i would've theorized that it was solely the fault of testosterone - for the reason why hair follicles slowly weaken, produce thinner and thinner hairs - to eventually wither and die. Men are the possessors of testosterone and if you look around 95% of guys are suffering MPB - women on the other hand - 95% of them are owners of proud, glorious manes of hair. Also, if you look at children - they don't suffer from an overdose of long exposures to testosterone - boys, in particular. Most pre-adolescent males too possess little testosterone.

Male Bodybuilders - possessing testosterone in excess - (since most female bodybuilders dont go to extremes when building muscle/mass) are 99% bald.

Lastly, if you take any steroids or testosterone-enhancing pills - the common side effect is hairloss. Just look it up.

k - i realized i should've made a poll with this thread with the adhering question.

if you had a girlfriend who you dated once, twice, three times and you then find out she was wearing a wig - would you dump her?

think carefully before you answer, guys.

its the double standard riddle.

if a guy doesn't dump a girl for wearing a wig, fake lashes, fake boobs, makeup, hair extensions, bra padding, fake nails....

then why should a girl dump a guy for doing the same?

it's only a double standard if you assume that men and women are equal
in fact, women have vaginas, therefore they can do as they please
