An arrest warrant has apparently been issued for the hockey star... apparently he gave contradictory evidence at his son's trial.

Wouldn't any father try and help their son as much as possible???

I would do all I could to help my son. If breaking the law was the only option, I would do it. I would also be ready to do the time (damn kids, the things you do for them) if I got caught.Hockey_MLnut said:and forcible confinement.

I would help with legal fees especialy if I thought there might be wrongful charges but to actually help him hide from the law...not a chance. What does that teach your kid other than disrespect for laws? If you help him break the law then where exactly do you draw the line with him? Is it when your kid is charged with stealing a car? Dealing drugs? Murdering someone?Hockey_MLnut said:and forcible confinement.

I physically he didn't have a scratch but I think mentally it took a toll. He wasn't the same player after the accident. IMOfridrikk said:Whatever else Lafleur was he was incredibly lucky. He wiped out on the highway and his car was utterly demolished but he didn't get so much as a scratch. Claimed he fell asleep which in Quebec is sort of slang for "I passed out form the booze"
