Not a perfect show last night but still pretty damn good! :) Had a blast - I knew they would save Paradise City for the end.

Was at the show that night too, had not seen them since the 90's and am a Duff and Slash fan.....Axl was beyond cringe worthy IMHO, I reminded myself that Slash etc are getting boat loads of money to share the stage with clown..
Axl was never a singer he was a front man like DLR and in 2017 he has become an onstage distraction

I saw them Sunday night and Axl's singing was noticeably poorer than it had been a couple years back when they first went on tour. I think he's burned out his voice to a certain extent. When they first started on tour, his voice was amazing. The best I'd ever heard it and he sounded just like on the albums. Now he's struggling to maintain the lyrics and relying more on the backup singers.

I don't blame him for this. Being on tour for 2 years straight will do that to you.

Great show though and for $200 I definitely got my money's worth. Who does a 3.5 hour show these days with no break and no opening act? GNR was literally on stage for 3.5 hours straight.

I thought it was a good show. 3.5 hours with no major breaks was awesome.

I thought Axl was pretty good. He's never been great but compared to guys like Vince Neil and DLR.... Rose has aged far better. I've seen these bands several times since their prime to the present. Axl was never that good even in his prime. But I will say this I know most of the lyrics to the songs and as I sang along he was definitely hitting notes the average person definitely cant. Whereas, some old 80s singers barely remember the words let alone hit the hard notes.

I apologize to all GNR fans and TERB members for posting this, but you can't mention "cringe worthy" and GNR without referencing this cover done by our illustrious ex-PM. Have you ever seen the front man for a cover band have less fun performing than ol' dead eyes? And his paid backup band all have "Please shoot me now" looks on their faces. At least the wild crowd loved it... ROCK ON!!!

They also paid tribute to Chris Cornell playing Black Hole Sun. Axl doesn't sound great but to be fair, Chris Cornell's voice was very distinct and hard to replicate. When he stopped trying to sing it like him and started singing it in his own voice, it got better.
