I know that place. It's called Toronto.

Yeah, there are bad people and violence. But it's far from common here.
Because you don't live in the Toronto neighborhoods where people get shot, robbed, and assaulted. You're insulated from the violence but talk a big game. You should go into politics. Tell the peasants what is good for them and what they deserve.

Even third world countries don't have the kind of mass shootings in schools no less, like in the US.
The people that live in those countries would trade their poverty, gang killings, and oppressive governments for the USA freedoms and USA mass shootings any day.

In fact they die trying to get into the USA every day. The tradeoff is a no-brainer.

The people who live in those countries, continue to live in those countries with a minority coming here. And that minority neither come here trading their security for mass shootings nor are their govts oppressive in all cases. Nonsensical post.

Exactly ...thhis man's speaking the truth.

I would encourage those that come from third world countries to own their own guns too and form groups to protect their own communities from xenophobic assholes in the USA.

Like the usa would be a much better place if everyone got a gun and formed their own communities and protect their own communities borders with armed volunteers.

Look into nigeria and afghanistan, how communities protect each other with gun wielding heroes.
Yup and turn into warlord like factions. Just like Somalia.

"Americans own some 415 million firearms"

As a matter of statistics, your "gun nut" labeling is practically a myth. Once you eliminate gang shootings from the equation (and let's be frank, nobody cares about thugs killing thugs), the picture looks even better.
Isn't the stat that gun nuts own 10 or 15 guns each and the rest of the population owns none?

Exactly... they look at America's "racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, guns, mass shootings" and know that these are overblown issues and that opportunity knocks for whomever wants it. They come, make a killing (figuratively), and continue building generational wealth and success.

Run for office. You'd fit right in with the first pic.

Except no one actually does what you say there, except a few celebs.

You can picture a group of pose-y multi millionaires and lampoon them, but the vast majority of people who support causes such as anti racism, pro LGBTQ, pro environment and anti gun proliferation are ordinary joes and janes.

Photos like that were considered normal, back in the days when there were far fewer mass shootings.
No they weren't. Families showing off military grade weapons and smirking?... Go find me examples.

If I lived in the U.S. there would be no question I'd own a gun for self-defense. You'd be foolish not to.
