So what I'm seeing above is it would force employers to pay a living wage, .....and raise prices on their products/services that are downloaded to the consumer...ie you and I.
Supply opportunity to people to move jobs more...CERB has proven...given "free" money, even though the job is there, people prefer to sit at home and get paid.

This is nothing but Liberals bribing us with our own money to cover up the years of scandals and reckless spending as they prepare for a potential election...haven't we all been here before?
You do realize that by doing this the market will still decide pricing right? Isn't that conservative economic theory?

People will still buy things.

And everyone I knew on CERB were extremely happy to be back to work and off It. The only ones who liked it were the few welfare goof offs I imagine. But it would give alot of incentive to employers to pay better. Have better working conditions.

Good idea but only of ALL other payments and support programs will be abandoned completely.
That's the theory yes. One single program. I imagine there will be push back from some activists in the disabled sector.

No fuck that. How about we lift the economic shutdown over a fake virus and let people go to work instead?
Lol.

Just wait. People like you are causing the spike. Will you continue to whine and break the rules when the shut down happens again?

Or smarten up and Comey with a few simple measures?

At some point companies will find it too expensive to do business here. Why set up shop when you can just sell the products/services from elsewhere.
Then the jobs disappear with that.
Once the jobs disappear, where will the tax income come from to fuel this program?
My guess is from everyone else still employed via increased income taxes and increased taxes on everything else.

Key is in the balance. And there will always be a large local economy. These scare tactics are for the most part false. And covid is now showing that a local market at higher pricing is doable.

China is going to get a reckoning soon.

Actually a 1 percent take on speculative trades would clear the debt - not just the deficient, which then removing the tax would free billlions of interest payments, more than enough to pay for it. With daily trades exceeding 100 billion on one exchange we talking billions of dollars of income
But anyway this is the time to get in debt the Canadan dollar is close to the American when its real value is no more than 20 cents - we are getting 5 times the value of any purchaes we make now - an 80 per cent sale or more on everything. When the dollar goes to its real value - well ouch.
Rich people can NEVER be taxed. NEVER. Only tax breaks. NEVER "pay your fair share".

The only tax is cuts to poor people.

Poor people will get cuts and rich people will get tax breaks. THUG Ford will make sure of that.

The average age of death for COVID is like 83 or something. People who were barely clinging on to life in the first place were the only ones on danger. By and large doesn't affect working people (15-65ish). its a fake virus created by the leftists for political propaganda

If that UBI is taxed back for those above the poverty line, it won't make too much of a difference, especially as it would essentially replace current welfare system.

A large local economy is not part-time jobs at Tim Horton's.
The local market is only surviving during the pandemic because the government has been printing money to give to people who in turn prefer not to go to work. That bubble is about to burst.

Why would it be a liberal hoax? The liberal hoaxers of America? And since I personally know (tangentially) dozens who died from the virus its a pretty powerful hoax. I known zero people in my life who died of flu or even friends of friends who died of flu. The term "liberal hoax" is many things including a profondly ignornt phrase except when used in a partizan way - at least a neo-convactually believes everything he disagrees with is liberal or is dog whistling to his base.
I can suggest several medical papers to get you started:

and something from the military, hard right

It's not just the deaths. This very real virus has long term effects for survivors. There is evidence of heart, lung, and other organ damage. Neurological damage. Strokes.

And these are in young healthy people. College age athletes who's careers are done. An MLB pitcher who maybe done.

As this continues we may end up with a slice of this generation similar to the polio outbreak. In need of high end care for life.

This is real. And the longer people like yourself deny it the longer it lasts. I lost an old high school friend to it. Don't risk your health or the health of your loved ones.
