It has A LOT to do with him. Everything has been skyrocketing, not just gas. We have tent cities and addiction crises galore. Meanwhile, he and his merry band of Liberal-NDPers live like royalty.
I see, so inflation isn't at all caused by the greed of oil companies and grocery stores and manufactures trying to capitalize because they can???

What do you think Pee Pee would have done if faced with a pandemic?? Let more die because they would just pretend it's not real.

Since you and Rich have made this a political thread, we might as well run with it.

Is it worth it lining up for an hour just to save $6-8 on a full tank? 🤷‍♂️

It's crazy that people still think JT is the second coming of the Messiah. I wish all Canadians would take their head out of their ass and look at what has happened to every single country in Latin America that has followed the same reckless socialist spending policies. Every single one has experienced inflation and rising costs of living, but these ideologues will rather stick to their warped worldview than acknowledge reality. In the end, you can only look after yourself and your family and ignore these ideologues. I never thought I would say this, but leave Canada if you can. If you're not a boomer it's not going to get any better.

I remember debating some douchebag on this forum that wanted to bring in 10 million immigrants overnight. I asked him what about the infrastructure and healthcare. He said he didn't care, these are the 20% that are voting for JT.

Those Canadians who believe that everything wrong with Canada today is Trudeau’s fault are hopelessly stupid , and even dangerously more stupid if they think that Poilievre can provide a fix.
Back to this thread, the price at the pump fiascos have been going on for years and seem independent of whoever holds political office.
We are In a free market economy not a state controlled totalitarian regime.

It's obvious that everything that is wrong with everything everywhere is the fault of history's greatest monster Justin Beiber. I mean as powerful as force for good that he is, even Chuck Norris can only do so much to fight the First Evil.

Wait!!! Last year we were at 120. wow. Justin was doing incredible work last year then right? Imagine gas at 1.20, it had to be Justin's doing.

You really need to reread the crap, bullshit, and nonsense you have been posting as of late. Whatever you are doing, stop, it's making you loopy. LMAO

Guess what? I voted JT twice...because the first 4 years was good (or was I just high with the legal weed)...he should've stepped aside and let someone run the country but because he was desperate to run it back, he thought the best thing to do is started buying votes by throwing money at everyone to make him look good...well here we are now...he needs to go squeeze... whether you like it or not....he's not doing good NOW...

No politician has Messiah status, not even Trump, they are bottom feeders. Justin is virtually powerless to slow down inflation, it's global. So much money was pumped into the economy during the epidemic that an inflationary spike was inevitable. Not sure if the correction will come in time to save JT. His biggest problem is the labour pool has shrunk, he can't bring immigrants into Canada fast enough.

Some folks don't understand how the world works.

As for Justin Bieber, you need something stronger than Chuck Norris to deal with him.

So that fuel cost increase should impact the inflation figures negatively, and hold back the interest rate drop for another few months...

You want receipts? that's exactly what i'm saying...he's throwing away $$$ rebates....why do you think he gives rebates? to cover the horrendous carbon tax... why not just no have a carbon tax and no rebates? because it makes him look like he's doing anything but really nothing...

The first time I saw Network, I considered it dark satire. Didn't know at the time that Sidney Lumet/Paddy Chayefsky were announcing the future.

Um, no, not correct their champ. If you change over to an EV, which I admit I am resisting, you are quite ahead of the game in collecting the rebate cheque. The more environmentally efficient you are, the more money you make as an incentive. I don't believe anyone with half a brain would not accept climate change as being real, if reducing carbon can slow it down, is it not better to do something than nothing at all?

What is PeePee's climate change plan?

Rich, before you answer have a read, be informed.

This is an unfortunate truth about the labour pool shrinkage and also the drop in productivity. The next PM will have to bring in more immigration and rapidly, a continuation of more of the same but essential for the economy.
For those who say wait for the infrastructure to be built, first the immigration will help to build it.
Immigration and infrastructure are not mutually exclusive but of course the opposition can use any diversion from the truth as a wedge issues.
