oil&gas is an industry producing basic elements for our existence

climatology is a scam
it is a simple fact, energy consumption drives prosperity and raises living standards

unreliables are not going to cut it, not even close , so Net zero is an unachievable phantasy that will cause hardships, suffering and famine.
it is a recipe for chaos and disaster.

Your #1 country on that list gets 98% of its energy from renewables.
Which makes my argument the winning argument.

Thanks for that.

This reminds me of when Ontario invested in one of the biggest coal plants in North America...because we all know pollution recognizes borders on a map.

Thanks to its ample reserves of oil and natural gas, Norway is a net energy exporter: in 2020, 87% of its energy production was exported. From a global perspective, Norway is the seventh-largest natural gas producer in the world, supplying 3% of global gas consumption. Norway is also a significant oil producer, accounting for 2.3% of global oil production in 2020. As a reputable and reliable producer, Norway has played a stabilising role in the world’s oil and gas supply, particularly in meeting European demand.

Yes, Norway nationalized their oil, invested in renewables and the country
They have trillions stocked away in reserves.

Alberta, the conservative paradise, has fuck all.
No savings, expensive and unreliable electricity and a shit ton of dirty oil tailings and old oil pumps.

So Norway actually benefits from the oil & gas industry? Go figure.

Yes, Norway made a ton of money and invested it in transition.
Even Saudi Arabia is investing in transition at the same time they are raking in the cash.
That's like selling cocaine & heroine and using the income to build a drug rehab centre.

Banning private jets any private ownership is an excellent terrible idea, period. That slippery slope is well greased & will end in socialism and disaster.

if you wish to target elites, ban their ability to dictate policy
And how do we do that.

There are certainly growing numbers of people who hate being shoved toward climate disaster. Climate deniers mockingly point fingers, but they are the real haters, especially when it comes to their children and grandchildren...
There is no climate disaster. And if there is one then there's no way we can control it or stop it. The planet will do as it chooses.

No they don't. And even if they do they're a very small country. Easy to do with not many people to provide energy to.

I do admire her targeting the hypocrites...but I suspect biting the hand that feeds will result in Greta falling out of favour and quietly disappearing as their poster child puppet.
Who controls her. I always thought it was her parents that put her up to this nonsense. Or is all of this a sham from her and her puppet masters because she's been called out as a hypocrite.
