No you can't, because even on ignore, his nothingness is still quoted and you end up having to go through of page after page of empty posts [which in terms of content means there isn't much difference if he is or isn't on your ignore list.
....... but you at least get the stuff that really idiotic filtered out and not quoted, then it disappears into the great void. He's so thick he doesn't even realize how many members have him on ignore. I suspect he just happy to see his own words in print.
I have a policy that I never put anyone on ignore, that said I try to only respond to him when he actually makes a sensible point - which is very close to having him on ignore because it almost never happens.

This is all a controlled situation bent on making us submit to their schemes. Their is no great depression only the one they are trying to make.

I apologize in advance however i have not been following this thread and I may be repeating something someone else or others may have already stated.
In any event the best way to insure that the US sinks into depression would be to implement the economic polices espoused by most of the GOP. The combination of reducing taxes for the wealthy and spending of the magnitude the current candidates would be a sure fire recipe for economic disaster.
The plan of Pawlenty is based upon an assumption of 10 continuous years of 5% growth which has never in history occurred. when pressed he said his assumptions were aspirational.. That is they were not based on history or reality but rather he hoped (or actually dreamed) that it could be achieved. After all if the Chinese could do it of course the US could.
The others had equally harebrained plans.
The GOP may think that the laws of economics do not apply to the US, perhaps because they are exceptional, however, they might just as soon say that the laws of gravity do not apply either. You can say whatever you like, but guess what? gravity will still apply as will the laws of economics.

He mistakenly believes that he understands complex social and economic issues.
He feels that repeating the same incorrect tired fear mongering message over and over again will somehow make it true.
